Skilled CNC setter/operator

The person we are looking for:
- In either turning, milling or both, good experience of CNC setting and operating in a sub-contract precision machining environment.
- Team player who is flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Someone who pays close attention to detail and a desire to offer consistently high-quality parts to our customers.
- A team member with either experience of lean workplaces and/or a keen interest to learn and grow within a lean culture.
Duties of CNC setter/operator:
- Setting and operating CNC machines with Heidenhain/ISO/Fanuc controls.
- Working within tight tolerances.
- Accurately completing work logs on production control software and creating/reading computerised tooling sheets.
- Confidently using measuring tools to check work before it is taken to our quality control department.
- Partake in lean training and actively contribute to our lean initiative by undertaking daily improvements to share with the team.
